Would be happy to recommend for a stopover

Clean room, spacious bathroom, with two showers and two toilets making it comfortable for families.

Everything was spot-on.

We liked the staff, the linens, the overall style of the building.

Unable to feel a sense of space in the room -- which was called, "deluxe"; unable to enjoy breakfast beforedressing for the day; unable to locate hotel with ease even with some knowledge of the city geography; a sense that - this hotel has somewhat exaggarated its potential.

Appreciated my really nice stay during the fourth nights we spend in that room.

The room was charming, but the noisy road outside made sleeping tough.

My room was great-sized and well furnished, had feather pillows. Its location within walking distance of Dark Mansion was favourable.

The setting is unbeatable and easy, really close to central Georgetown and a quiet area. Peppersalt Restaurant, where you can eat, is within walking distance of from here.

Their breakfast is poor, can be way much better.

The cramped room lacked storage options for clothes!!! Limited TV channels restrict entertainment choices, and the shower's lukewarm water is disappointing!!!

My stay here was really nice. Unique hotel, the staff were all caring and amazingly attentive and the location was absolutely perfect on the outskirts of the busier part of Georgetown. Location: the property was just next door to main areas, many attractions and restaurant. Stopped by Fook Cheow Cafe to get some coffee and treats, it's within walking distance of the venue, recommend...

The old building presents several quirks-street noise disrupts sleep, room conditions vary from dusty to uncomfortably small, and some maintenance issues like lukewarm showers diminish the experience. There's also a lack of soundproofing, which makes for a less private stay with all the bustling outside.

We encountered frequent noise disruptions from outside, particularly from street activities, hard to get a restful sleep.

Staying at Museum Hotel seemed like a step into history. The antique furniture in the Art Decor Suite fascinated me. Two showers and two toilets made it perfect for my family. The breakfast menu included good options, especially the eggs benedict, which tasted fantastic. The pool wasn't available, disappointing since I had expected to enjoy it. The staff were accommodating, but the lack of air conditioning in public areas felt stifling at times. A notification about the pool being unavailable was not provided until my arrival. I enjoyed wandering through the brightly decorated historic streets nearby, and the quiet vibe at night was a pleasant contrast to the busy daytime. I wish the hotel had been more transparent about its facilities ahead of time.

Staying here, me heart was won over by the lovely, friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The rooftop terrace in the evening? Absolutely magical, watchin' the Penang storms roll in. But, the wifi? Bit dodgy, could do with a boost!

It was a commendable fit for a weekend breather in George Town with good value. The common areas like the rooftop chill spot were nice. Consider trying local eateries within walking distance for great food options.
